ÕILE is a knitwear collection that represents innovative waterproof knitwear. Through special processing each fibre is treated so it becomes waterproof and does not lose its breathability. WATERPROOF KNITWEAR is focusing on zero-waste design practice and all the items are made out of lambs wool or surplus wool. Wool is 100% natural product and every year over 100 000 tons of surplus wool is either burnt or discarded.
Waterproof Knitwear very first collection name is ÕILE and the inspiration for the collection is my grandmother Õile, who used to be a foreman in the Sindi knitting factory during the 50s.
