“Arbuja”
Arbuja is known to be a witch and a soothsayer from Estonian folklore. The aim of my fashion collection “Arbuja” is also to evoke changes in the future. With prints and dresses inspired by Muhu traditional patterns I attract people to see the greatness of Estonian textile heritage and the beauty of local nature. The collection “Arbuja” consists of 18 Estonian folk art inspired textile print designs and 15 wrap dresses for everyday wear. “Arbuja ” seeks balance between urban and rural environment keeping in mind the youth living in Karlova in the middle of greenery and backyards. The main design in the collection is the functional and feminine cotton wrap dress.
