Estonian Fashion Festival was founded in 2018 by three organisations educating fashion designers, when the Pallas University of Applied Sciences, Tartu Centre for Creative Industries and the University of Tartu Viljandi Culture Academy decided to combine their long-standing and idiosyncratic fashion shows into a single event with the common goal of promoting sustainability and Estonian fashion design.

Today, Estonian Fashion Festival has grown into a 3-day fashion festival with a diverse programme that is organised in an environmentally friendly manner and contributes to making the Estonian fashion industry more sustainable.

Estonian Fashion Festival was part of the Tartu 2024 European Capital of Culture program.
