Mood-Performance-Tants is a one-of-a-kind fashion show in Estonia that uniquely combines fashion, performance, and dance. The show creates a platform for emerging fashion designers to present their exceptional creations in a setting that is just as unconventional as they are. Designers’ works are brought to the audience through visually striking and playful performances. The fashion show encourages unique and unconventional ideas — not only in the collections themselves, but also in performances, scenography, and locations.
Organised by Pallas University of Applied Sciences, Mood-Performance-Tants is Tartu’s longest-running fashion show, taking place since 1997. The event is also connected to the graduation process of the art school, as the collections presented on stage are created by graduating students from Pallas’ design department and are evaluated by the official thesis assessment committee. For diploma students, the show offers an opportunity to present their work within a professionally produced fashion performance.
Pallas University of Applied Sciences is Estonia’s only university of applied arts, offering studies across three fields — design, conservation/restoration, and fine arts — through eight curricula: photography, conservation and restoration, painting, media and advertising design, leather product design and technology, furniture design, sculpture, and textile design.

MOOD-PERFORMANCE-TANTS 2026 – PROCESSION THROUGH TIME
Different collections unfold like layers of time — fleeting moments that leave space for new traces to emerge. Models move through the church, offering the audience an immersive journey where fashion, sound, and movement become one experience.
Performing live is Oopus, improvising contextually for each collection, allowing sound to grow out of silence and shape every moment into something unique. This fashion show does not attempt to represent time — it invites the audience to experience it.
