ACIDCAT explores the boundaries of the future with the aim of selling illusion and fantasy. Rather than fearing collaboration with machines, the designer embraces it and draws inspiration from them. Through this work, ACIDCAT seeks to encourage people to dream more. The collection PIXEL DREAM was created in collaboration with artificial intelligence and tells the story of six artificial characters who have gathered to welcome the open-space princess, SPACE. The collection aims to stretch the boundaries between the real and virtual worlds, blurring the audience’s perception of this new reality in which we live. All garments are fully fashioned (knitted to shape), meaning there is no material waste. The collection was also made using elastic thread produced in Estonia, allowing the entire production process to remain local.
