Gerly Eisenschmidt was inspired to create the collection “Reflection of a Different Character” by the bond between herself and her twin sister. In her family, there are eight additional pairs of twins, which encouraged her to explore the theme even more deeply. The collection offers insight into the connection between twins while highlighting differences in personality, despite their identical appearance. The aim of the collection is to introduce the world of twins to people who do not have twins themselves and to highlight everyday moments experienced within her family. She uses defective ribbons and leftover pieces sourced from Haine Paelavabrik, as well as existing fabrics. All garments are sewn and produced by the designer herself. She also saves leftover materials for future use.
