Goda is a designer from Lithuania whose journey into fashion design began with creating illustrations in Photoshop. Her collection “Gravity Hurts” is inspired by these illustrations and serves as a medium for expressing her inner world. The collection reflects her journey with bipolar disorder and explores how to cope with a difficult diagnosis. For Goda, art functions as therapy—a meditative state that helps her manage internal noise. She also collaborates with Lithuanian footwear designers and seamstresses, as her work focuses on reworking existing materials. Whenever possible, she repurposes existing garments and strives to purchase as few new fabrics as possible.
