Jaanus Odras explores personal and societal themes through an experimental fashion language. His collection “TIME TO HEAL” is dedicated to mental health and to moments when overload, anger, and confusion make the world feel like a deep void. The collection consists of ten eclectic looks—each different, yet strangely familiar, reflecting the emotions and states we experience during low points. The collection is created primarily from recycled materials, emphasizing the idea that we have only one planet. The designer uses second-hand textiles, production leftovers, and home textiles, combining them with experimental techniques such as patchwork, hand sewing, and braiding. Unexpected materials also find new life in the accessories, such as pharmaceutical blister packaging. The reuse of materials and thoughtful handling of waste reflect the designer’s intention to move toward more conscious and environmentally aware creation.
