Janika Solmann is a passionate textile artist from Võrumaa, whose nearly 10 years of experience in plant-based textile printing have made her an expert in the field. She runs the cozy NaturalSolmann creative studio at Võru Liiva-ATE Creative Hub. Janika is inspired by the colors, patterns, and textures of nature, and her work reflects the deep emotions that natural elements evoke in her. In her work, Janika increasingly focuses on sustainability, emphasizing the use of natural materials and earthy tones. She specializes in dyeing and printing fabrics using local natural dyes and plants. Currently, she is developing her own dye plant garden to expand the range of local colors and enrich the surrounding environment.
