Mari-Liis Kõlli creates garments where traditional craft techniques, natural materials, and the principles of slow fashion meet. Her collection "Ajakaja" is inspired by the iconic silhouettes of Estonian peasant clothing, reinterpreting that heritage in a contemporary and wearable form. The collection draws on techniques inspired by traditional culture, including wet felting, embroidery, crochet, and braid weaving. A restrained and monochrome colour palette creates a timeless whole and allows the garments to be easily mixed and matched.

The designer pays close attention to material awareness and craft quality, using only natural fibres such as linen and wool. Many pieces in the collection are one-of-a-kind, and the cuts are designed to generate as little material waste as possible, with any offcuts finding use in new details.

Mari-Liis Kõlli will participate in the OmaMood fashion show in 2026.
