CAROLXOTT is a clothing brand for the bold wearer. The brand was founded in 2018, inspired by the archipelago of Northern Estonia, where authentic coastal traditions are hidden. The stories of coastal villages are captured in the garments through unique patterns and forms inspired by fishermen's clothing. Additionally, the brand collaborates with the local women of Prangli Island, who weave fluffy, net-patterned knitwear. Currently, Cärol uses mainly industrial leftovers in the creation of her collections. In the past six months, progress has also been made regarding the use of her own leftovers. At present, all textile waste is placed in a collection bin, where it is turned into rag rugs by the small community of Prangli Island. In an ideal world, there would be no need to create anything new, but if it must be done, it is done as sustainably as possible, offering people alternatives to supporting fast fashion brands.
