Claudia Lepik is a jewelry artist interested in pushing the boundaries of scale and materials in jewelry. She has a particular interest in facial and nose jewelry, and incorporating theatrical fashion inspiration into her works gives her the opportunity to explore the entire body of the wearer and work in dialogue with her body using the selected materials. The primary material for her large-scale works is brass, which has been manipulated in various ways to create a garment-like feeling from a distance, but up close, the rigidity of the metal is visible. In addition to creating art and large-scale works, she tries to find a way to translate her artistic details into everyday jewelry. As a small-scale producer, she doesn't create too much; the entire process is managed by her, and she creates with the intention that her jewelry could be passed down to future generations. She would like to reduce the creation of waste materials when packing and shipping jewelry. Claudia Lepik participated in the 2023 festival.
